After I accidentally shrunk my drop cloth drapes
{word to the wise: pre-wash your drop cloths when making curtains!}
and was left with high-water curtains,
I knew I had to find some new window coverings.
The high water look drove me absolutely nut-so.
While I really liked the texture of the drop cloths, I wanted something with a little more visual interest.
After lots of inspiration searching, I decided I wanted striped drapes {like Nester's}.
I happened to stumble upon a FABULOUS tutorial on how to make your own striped drapes at A Thoughtful Place.
While this was not a hard project, it was very time consuming!
But the finished product was totally worth the effort.
See for yourself...
SO much better!!!
Now I just have to figure out how to properly sew a liner on them...

And now for The After Party....
You can link up any Before & After project {past or present}
whether it be a furniture makeover, trash to treasure, or a complete overhaul of one of your rooms.
Please link to your specific Before and After post and not the main page of your blog.
And it'd be great if you linked back to the party in your post so that others can join in the fun too.
Using a text link or the button below works for me!

Thanks for hosting such a great party. I love your new curtains!!
